Pierce Brosnan and wife, Keely Shaye Smith have spent almost two decades in their gorgeous Malibu residence. So, when the time came for the ‘James Bond’ actor and his wife to bid farewell to their expansive mansion located in the heart of Malibu, California, they were a little nostalgic.
For all those wondering what happens with the utterly gorgeous property now, well it goes on sale. Brosnan and his filmmaker wife have put the beachfront residence on the market. What’s the price you ask? Well, just a rightly deserved $100 million! The property is listed with the real estate firm Chris Cortazzo of Compass.
Interestingly, the couple bought the two plots of land in 2000 for just $7.35 million. They first lived in a cozy ranch-style home before tearing it down and renovating it into the grand and lavish mansion it is today. Their dream house consist 5 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, grand guest rooms, studio, spa, and all other amenities you can think of. This is where the couple raised their two sons, Paris, 19, and Dylan, 23.
They named their property ‘Orchid House’ and gave it a South-Asian feel with Thailand-style bathrooms and bamboo decors on walls. They also had tropical paintings all over to remind them of the time when ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ was filmed in Thailand. The mansion deigned by Ralph and Ross Anderson and is totally one of its kind.
